WayAhead Workplaces (formerly known as the Workplace Health Promotion Network) is a program of WayAhead – Mental Health Association NSW (WayAhead) a health promoting charity, that plays a vital role in the development of mental health initiatives which increase community awareness and knowledge of mental health issues. We strive towards a community that embraces and maintains mental, social and emotional wellbeing for all people and we work towards a society free from prejudice and discrimination against people living with mental illness.
Donations to us are tax deductible (please use the form below) and you will receive a receipt for your donation. An email will be sent to you once the payment has been approved.
The goal of WayAhead Workplaces is to improve the health of Australia’s working population. The network is for any organisation that is interested in promoting employee health and wellbeing within their organisation.
We do this by resourcing organisations to create healthy workplaces in relation to all aspects of employee health and wellbeing.
We are also a peer support network of best practice and assistance for those in this field – we help them to do their job.
We do not receive any funding to resource this program – we need your support to develop our program and offer more services to workplaces across Australia.
We believe in a preventive approach to workplace health and wellbeing and arming people with information to help themselves and their workplace. Work makes up one third of a person’s life and that is a long time to be stressed, unhappy and unproductive but has the great potential to be a place of stimulation, purpose and achievement.
We have extensive networks in the workplace health and mental health sectors that we utilise to help our members.
We currently charge a membership fee to be part of this network but we are also sourcing other sustainable ways to grow our income. If you or your organisation are looking for a charity to donate to, please choose us and the work we do to assist all workplaces to become healthier, safer, more informed and productive places to be.
