With one in five women experiencing perinatal depression or anxiety, we know this experience can impact confidence, workforce connectedness, career progression and employability.
Gidget Foundation Australia and Future Women, supported by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women, have launched a year-long professional development membership, Future Women Jobs Academy, to support 140 women who have experienced perinatal depression or anxiety (PNDA) and who want to find, gain and retain employment.
The program will provide participants with access to professional development activities, access to webinars and training opportunities, virtual tickets to the FW Leadership Summit and connect them with real job opportunities offered by employers committed to increasing women’s workforce participation.
