Leadership in the workplace – how can we get our leaders on board to create healthy workplaces?
Each year, the Workplace Health Promotion Network’s Annual Member’s Forum explores a theme that has a direct bearing on health and in particular the mental health of our workforce. The 2014 theme was ‘Leadership in the workplace – how can we get our leaders on board to create healthy workplaces?’
An important question and an essential one in creating workplaces that support workers health. Speakers came from diverse backgrounds including the Mental Health Commissioner of NSW, John Feneley and the NSW Minister for Mental Health, the Hon. Jai Rowell.
Members heard presentations from corporations, local government and researchers, as well as panellist discussions, case studies, stimulating conversations and networking opportunities for the 100 members and guests who attended.
