Elevator pitch: Tell us about your role and the work your organisation does
We support organisations and people leaders to develop and implement programs and content that will help educate their teams with financial matters and inspire them to take action to save time, money, and stress. We enable this through flexible, tailored, tested, unbiased and practical programs and support tools. We do this because we believe this is important and it aligns with our passion and values of helping more Australians being financially confident.
What’s the current focus for you and your organisation in workplace health and wellbeing?
Supporting organisations to help their team members and families practically navigate the challenges of cost-of-living pressures. Helping individuals to save between 5 – 10 k on their current spending.
What aspect of workplace health and wellbeing does your organisation do well in?
Financial wellbeing education and training for teams including design and implementation.
What’s your biggest challenge working in workplace health and wellbeing?
Getting in front of more decision makers within organisations at the right time and helping them prioritise making a start and supporting their teams with financial wellbeing. Helping influencers understand that there is a lot that can be done to support their teams and deliver practical support that they need and in many cases want.
What do you feel are the key issues and considerations for people working in this sector?
Balancing budgets and priorities for the organisation with what is most important to what the team members need to navigate the very real pressures of cost of living. Also using these programs to better connect and engage with their team members.
What do you think the future of workplace health and wellbeing looks like?
Exciting, with flexibility and tailored support available on a range of life skill fronts which respects and supports the holistic wellbeing of the employee and their families. It is dynamic and respects diversity and inclusion.
What are your key practices and priorities for your own wellbeing at work? What about your team’s?
Spending more time doing the things that I am passionate about and enjoy. Spending time with my partner, children, and grandchildren. Fishing, travelling, walking the dogs and making sure I get enough down time and do some of the simple things in life.
As a team, we take a genuine interest and understand who we are working with and what is important to them. We encourage our team to make the most of moments that count and create great memories.
