What is Vitality Works?
Vitality Works is a Sanitarium company whose purpose is to create healthier businesses — the people in them and the bottom lines — through world-leading workplace health practices that build safe, engaged, and well workforces.
What is the relationship between physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace?
We believe that healthy happy employees are central to the success of any organisation, and for them to thrive they must be at their best – across all areas of wellbeing. The relationship is finding the balance across the areas, you could be physically ‘well’ but struggling in other areas. We look at wellbeing across four quadrants, physical/mental/social and work wellbeing – we think of this of as whole of person health and through this approach we aim to help people and organisations in each arena and to see the link across all facets of wellbeing in the workplace.
What is Wellbeing360™?
Wellbeing360™ is a rigorous employee assessment that shows which areas of the business to focus on for real wellbeing improvement, delivered as a report that’s robust enough to take to the C-Suite.
You are provided with a wholistic view of your workforce's health to highlight where you are leading and where you are lagging.
How does Vitality Works work with employers to better their employees’ wellbeing?
We work with your team to understand your goals, we then use world-class data analytics to identify the areas of focus that will make the biggest impact, we build a plan to hit your objectives, we use our suite of proven engagement tools to drive participation and we adapt our strategy based on your results to ensure constant positive change.
What are some of the benefits you see for Vitality Works, and other organisations more broadly, in being part of the WayAhead Workplaces Network?
I think the benefit for any organisation involved with the WayAhead Workplaces Network is the community support it provides for people who are trying to make a difference to organisations and individuals. It’s great to share ideas, connect and learn in a collaborative and educational way.
You can hear more from Vitality Works at the WayAhead Workplaces Annual Members' Forum on Tuesday 18th of June.
Non-members are also welcome to attend; please email Sharon.Leadbetter@wayahead.org.au and Lynley.Hurst@wayahead.org.au to register your interest.
